A MEL ROACH from the 1955 TOPPS set, card #117. This is a great addition to any MILWAUKEE BRAVES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 7 This is a beautiful high-grade vintage card. It is limited to an 8 primarily due to the moderate centering shift on the front and minor fuzzing on the top corners. The surface and color preservation are excellent. Centering: 7 / 10 The front design is shifted toward the top left, resulting in a slightly thinner top and left border compared to the bottom and right. Corners: 8 / 10 Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show minor touches of wear and micro-fuzzing. The bottom corners remain relatively sharp. Back: Minor softness is visible at the Top Right corner on the back. The other corners appear clean for the era. Edges: 7 / 10 Front: The edges show very minor chipping and a typical rough cut for this era, most noticeable along the Top and Left edges. Back: The back edges exhibit light natural wear and a slightly uneven cut consistent with 1950s card stock. Surface: 10 / 10 Front: The front surface is exceptionally clean with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or print defects.
