A MILT PAPPAS from the 1959 TOPPS set, card #391. This is a great addition to any BALTIMORE ORIOLES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This 1959 Milt Pappas is a solid vintage example limited primarily by a light surface crease on the middle left edge and moderate rounding of the corners. The centering is acceptable for the era, and the overall color remains strong. Centering: 7 / 10 The top border is significantly thicker than the bottom, while the left border is slightly narrower than the right. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: The Top Left corner has significant rounding and whitening. The other three corners exhibit moderate softening and edge wear. Back: All four corners on the reverse side show visible whitening and rounding consistent with the front. Edges: 6 / 10 The edges on the reverse exhibit moderate chipping, most notably along the top and right sides. Surface: 5 / 10 A small vertical crease or wrinkle is located near the middle of the left edge. The yellow field remains vibrant and free of major staining.
