A NED GARVER from the 1957 TOPPS set, card #285. This is a great addition to any KANSAS CITY ATHLETICS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This vintage specimen is a well-preserved example primarily defined by moderate corner rounding and edge wear typical for its age. While the centering and surface quality are high, the physical integrity of the corners limits the final grade to the Very Good range. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front displays a modest left-heavy shift, while the vertical alignment remains quite strong. Back: The reverse centering is shifted toward the top and right edges. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: All four corners exhibit moderate rounding and whitening consistent with age, with the Top Right and Bottom Right showing the most significant wear. Back: The reverse corners show softening and minor fraying at the tips. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: The right edge shows minor chipping and a rough factory cut, while the top edge has some light fraying. Back: The edges on the reverse show standard shelf wear and minor nicks along the perimeter. Surface: 6 / 10 The back shows natural age-toning across the card stock and a few small, faint spots.
