A NOLAN RYAN from the 1977 TOPPS set, card #650. This is a great addition to any CALIFORNIA ANGELS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 3 This card's grade is primarily determined by a severe vertical miscut on the front and significant rounding on all four corners. The extensive edge wear and surface print defects are also consistent with this condition level. Centering: 3 / 10 The vertical centering is extremely poor, with the bottom border reduced to a very thin sliver. Corners: 3 / 10 Front: All four corners exhibit significant rounding and visible whitening of the card stock. Back: The back corners show heavy wear and softening, consistent with the condition seen on the front. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: Moderate chipping and shelf wear are visible along all edges, most notably on the right side. Back: The reverse edges show noticeable wear and light fraying of the card stock. Surface: 4 / 10 The surface shows significant print 'snow' and general wear; the on-card autograph is distinct but does not affect the technical surface grade.
