A RED SCHOENDIENST from the 1949 BOWMAN set, card #111. This is a great addition to any ST. LOUIS CARDINALS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 2 While this 1949 Bowman card boasts impressive centering, the final grade is restricted by the heavy rounding on all corners and a significant horizontal crease across the middle of the surface. Centering: 9 / 10 The horizontal centering is exceptional, while the vertical centering shows a very slight shift toward the top edge. Corners: 2 / 10 Front: All four corners exhibit significant rounding and softening of the paper fibers. Back: The reverse corners show heavy wear and rounding consistent with the front of the card. Edges: 4 / 10 Front: The edges show widespread moderate wear and chipping, with a few small nicks visible along the right side. Back: Fraying and light stock loss are present along all four edges on the reverse. Surface: 3 / 10 Front: A prominent horizontal crease runs through the center of the card. The surface also displays natural age-related toning. Back: The horizontal crease is clearly visible on the back, alongside some mild surface staining. Please pay for multiple cards in ONE payment.
