A ROMAN MEJIAS from the 1957 TOPPS set, card #362. This is a great addition to any PITTSBURGH PIRATES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 8 This 1957 Topps Roman Mejias is an exceptional example. The final grade is driven by the sharp corners and near-pristine surface quality, though it is slightly limited by the centering shift on the reverse and a minor touch of wear on one corner. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The centering on the front is very balanced, with only a slight favor toward the top and left. Back: The back centering is noticeably shifted toward the right side of the card. Corners: 8 / 10 Front: The Top Right corner shows a tiny touch of whitening, while the other three corners are sharp and well-preserved. Back: The corners on the reverse show very minor signs of handling consistent with a high-grade vintage card. Edges: 9 / 10 Front: The edges are incredibly crisp, retaining the original factory-cut appearance with no significant chipping. Back: The reverse edges are clean and well-defined across all four sides. Surface: 10 / 10 Front: The surface is in beautiful condition, featuring bright, saturated colors and no visible scratches or print snow.
