A RUSS GIBSON from the 1969 TOPPS set, card #89. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 6 This 1969 Topps Russ Gibson is a very well-preserved specimen with sharp corners and excellent color. While the vertical centering is shifted and there is minor edge wear, the primary grading constraint is the presence of small handwritten initials on the reverse surface. Centering: 7 / 10 The horizontal centering is excellent, but there is a clear vertical shift toward the bottom edge. Corners: 8 / 10 The corners on the reverse show very minor touches of white at the tips, which is consistent with light handling for a vintage issue. Edges: 8 / 10 There is some very minor edge roughness on the top and bottom borders, likely due to the original factory cutting process. Surface: 5 / 10 The back surface is generally clean but features small handwritten initials in blue ink near the bottom right, which affects the surface grade.
