A SAL YVARS from the 1953 TOPPS set, card #11. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK GIANTS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 5 This card presents well for its age, featuring excellent surface color and front centering. The final condition estimate is primarily driven by moderate corner rounding and edge chipping typical of mid-grade vintage specimens. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front displays a modest left-heavy centering that is typical for this era. Back: The reverse is noticeably shifted toward the right edge. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show moderate whitening and rounding. The bottom corners show minor touches. Back: All four corners on the reverse show visible whitening and shelf wear consistent with the front. Edges: 6 / 10 Front: The Right edge shows minor chipping of the print. The top edge has a very small nick near the center. Back: Chipping is present along the right edge of the reverse, common for these red-bordered backs. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining vibrant color and showing no evidence of creases or heavy scratching.
