A SAM ESPOSITO from the 1957 TOPPS set, card #301. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO WHITE SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This vintage 1957 issue is in mid-grade condition. The primary factors limiting the grade are the moderate rounding of the corners and the prominent print spotting across the front surface. While the centering is shifted, it remains within acceptable limits for a Very Good condition assessment. Centering: 7 / 10 The front displays a significant shift toward the top edge, leaving the bottom border much thicker. Corners: 4 / 10 Front: The Top Right and Bottom Right corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening. The left-side corners exhibit minor touches but remain better defined. Back: All four corners on the reverse side show wear and rounding consistent with the front, with the heaviest softening on the right side. Edges: 6 / 10 Front: The edges show minor chipping and a rough-cut texture, particularly along the right side, which is common for this era of production. Back: The back edges show light wear and minor toning along the physical perimeter. Surface: 5 / 10 Front: The front surface contains significant print spotting or 'snow' throughout the image area.
