A SANDY CONSUEGRA from the 1953 BOWMAN COLOR set, card #89. This is a great addition to any WASHINGTON SENATORS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This card presents as a typical mid-grade vintage example. While the centering is quite strong for a 1953 issue, the grade is primarily limited by the moderate rounding on all four corners and the chipping visible along the front left edge. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front displays a slight top-heavy and left-heavy orientation. Back: The back centering is shifted toward the top left corner, though it remains within acceptable limits for the era. Corners: 3 / 10 Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening, with the Top Left corner being the most affected. Back: Consistent rounding and corner wear are present on all four corners of the reverse side. Edges: 5 / 10 The Left edge shows significant chipping along the black border, while the remaining edges show typical vintage wear. Surface: 6 / 10 Minor print defects and light white speckling are visible across the left side of the image, along with some light staining on the white borders.
