A SANDY CONSUEGRA from the 1956 TOPPS set, card #265. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO WHITE SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 7 This card is in extraordinary condition for a 1955 vintage issue. The centering is nearly perfect on the front, and while there is some very minor corner softening and edge chipping, the overall eye appeal and surface quality are excellent. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front borders are remarkably well-centered with only a very slight shift toward the top. Back: The back is shifted significantly toward the left edge, which is typical for this era. Corners: 7 / 10 Front: The Top Left and Top Right corners show extremely minor touches of white. The bottom corners are very sharp. Back: The back corners exhibit light uniform wear consistent with the front, with minor softening at the tips. Edges: 8 / 10 Front: The edges are quite clean, showing only faint traces of natural chipping along the Top and Right edges. Back: The edges on the reverse show light age-related toning but remain very smooth. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The surface is impressively clean with vibrant colors and no visible scratches or print defects.
