Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This 1961 Topps Koufax displays exceptional preservation in its corners, edges, and surface, which would otherwise merit a much higher grade. However, the extreme centering shift toward the top and right on the front face serves as a significant technical constraint. Centering: 3 / 10 The front displays a heavy shift toward the top and right, with the top border being extremely thin. Corners: 8 / 10 Front: The corners are remarkably sharp for a vintage issue, showing only microscopic touches on the tips. Back: The reverse corners show consistent minor softening, particularly at the top left and bottom right. Edges: 8 / 10 Front: The edges are clean with the slight natural roughness expected from early 1960s factory cutting. Back: The back edges show light peripheral wear but no significant chipping or damage. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining vibrant color and showing no visible creases or scratches.
