This vintage 1954 Topps card is in outstanding condition. The primary factors limiting the grade are the vertical centering shift and a minor touch on the top right corner. The surface preservation is exceptional for a card of this age.
Centering: 7 / 10
The horizontal centering is quite strong, while the vertical centering shows a noticeable shift toward the bottom edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Right corner shows a very minor touch of whitening. The other three corners remain sharp and well-defined. Back: Minor touches of wear are visible on the Top Left and Top Right corners. The bottom corners are clean.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are remarkably clean for a 1954 issue, with only a few tiny nicks visible along the right edge. Back: The back edges show minimal wear, consistent with careful handling over time.
Surface: 9 / 10
The back surface shows standard age-related toning but is free of any stains or marking.
