A TOM GRIFFIN from the 1969 TOPPS set, card #614. This is a great addition to any HOUSTON ASTROS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 6 The card presents well with exceptional front centering. However, the grade is primarily limited by noticeable chipping along the front edges and significant off-centering on the back. These factors, combined with typical vintage print defects, result in a mid-grade assessment. Centering: 10 / 10 The centering on the back is heavily weighted toward the left, resulting in a very thin border on that side. Corners: 7 / 10 Slight whitening and minor rounding are visible on the corners, particularly on the left side. Edges: 5 / 10 Noticeable chipping is present along the Top and Right edges, where the white card stock shows through the black border line. Surface: 7 / 10 Front: The surface displays moderate 'print snow' or white speckling, which is common for this vintage set, but lacks any major scratches or creases.
