A TOM SEAVER from the 1972 TOPPS set, card #446. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK METS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
The card exhibits exceptional vintage preservation with sharp corners and clean surfaces, but the final grade is constrained by moderate left-heavy front centering.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the right border noticeably wider than the left border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: All four corners are remarkably sharp with only micro-softening visible under close inspection. Back: All four corners remain clean and well-preserved with sharp factory tips.
Edges: 9 / 10
Front: All four edges are cleanly cut with minimal factory roughing. Back: The reverse edges show clean borders with no noticeable chipping or wear.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface is clean with vibrant colors and no scratches, creases, or print defects. Back: The reverse surface is immaculate; the asterisks and copyright text in the upper left corner are printed design elements rather than staining.
