A TOMMY CARROLL from the 1955 TOPPS set, card #158. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK YANKEES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 3 This vintage card shows significant physical wear consistent with a well-handled example. The grade is primarily limited by the heavy creasing on the front surface and the severe rounding of the corners. Centering: 6 / 10 The front design is positioned significantly low, with the bottom border being much thinner than the top. A left-ward shift is also evident. Corners: 3 / 10 Front: All four corners show heavy rounding and softening of the card stock. The Top Right corner exhibits some splitting and layering of the cardboard. Back: The corners on the reverse side are heavily rounded with significant stock exposure visible. Edges: 4 / 10 Front: The edges show considerable wear and chipping. A prominent notch is visible near the center of the Top edge. Back: Moderate to heavy chipping and softening are present along all four edges. Surface: 2 / 10 Multiple prominent creases are visible, including a major horizontal crease through the central image. Scattered scratches and age-related toning are also present.
