A TONY KUBEK from the 1958 TOPPS set, card #393. This is a great addition to any New York Yankees collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 5
The grade is primarily constrained by noticeable left-heavy front centering. Corners, edges, and surface remain in exceptionally strong condition for a vintage issue.
Centering: 6 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the right border substantially wider than the left border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 4 / 10
Front: Top Left corner shows minor softening at the tip, while remaining corners retain good factory shape for the era. Back: Bottom Right corner shows light fiber softening with no major blunting or creases.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Left edge shows light vintage rough-cut friction, while remaining edges are crisp. Back: All four edges are solid with only mild natural age toning along the perimeter.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: The vibrant orange background displays faint vintage print flecks but no scratches or creases. Back: The reverse surface is clean and fully legible with natural vintage paper stock characteristics and no staining.
