This 1969 Rookie Stars card is in excellent physical condition, featuring sharp corners and a remarkably clean surface. The final grade is determined by the centering, specifically the significant horizontal shift on the reverse side which acts as the primary limiting factor.

Centering: 7 / 10
Front: The front centering is shifted toward the top and right, but remains within respectable limits for the era. Back: The reverse centering is heavily shifted toward the left side, resulting in a very thin border.

Corners: 7 / 10
The Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners show very minor touches of wear and faint whitening. The top corners appear sharp.

Edges: 9 / 10
The reverse edges are sharp and straight, though the left edge is cut very close to the internal design frame.

Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The front surface retains high original gloss and vibrant color with no visible scratches or print defects. Back: The back surface is very clean and free of the common wax or gum stains often found on cards from this period.
