This 1984 Topps Wayne Gretzky is in outstanding condition. The primary reason for the Mint grade is a very slight vertical centering bias on the front and a minor touch of wear on one corner of the reverse. Otherwise, the card features exceptional surface clarity and sharp edges.
Centering: 9 / 10
The horizontal centering is nearly perfect, while the top border is slightly thicker than the bottom.
Corners: 8 / 10
The Top Left corner shows a microscopic touch of whitening. the other three corners remain sharp.
Edges: 10 / 10
Front: The edges are clean and free from the typical chipping often found on this vintage stock. Back: The reverse edges are smooth and well-preserved.
Surface: 10 / 10
Front: The surface is exceptionally clean with vibrant colors and no visible print defects or scratches. Back: The reverse surface is clean with bold text and no evidence of staining or wear.
