A Y.A. TITTLE from the 1955 BOWMAN set, card #72. This is a great addition to any SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 6 This card presents excellently for a mid-1950s issue, particularly regarding surface quality and color. However, the overall grade is limited by the heavy vertical centering shift on the front and light corner touches consistent with moderate handling. Centering: 6 / 10 The front displays a significant upward shift, resulting in a very thin top border compared to the bottom. Side-to-side alignment is quite good. Corners: 8 / 10 Front: The corners show minor touches of wear and very slight softening, which is expected for a vintage card of this era. Back: Small amounts of whitening are visible at the tips, particularly on the bottom two corners. Edges: 8 / 10 Front: The edges are generally clean with only minor signs of chipping along the top and left sides. Back: Natural age-related wear is present along the perimeter, but no major nicks or fraying are noted. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The surface is impressively clean for its age, retaining bright colors and showing no visible creases or heavy scratches.
