This 1956 Topps card is a superior vintage specimen. Despite a centering shift typical of the period, the card retains exceptional eye appeal with sharp corners and a pristine surface. The overall condition is characteristic of a high-grade example from the mid-1950s.
Centering: 7 / 10
The front exhibits a noticeable horizontal shift toward the left edge and a minor vertical shift toward the bottom.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: The Top Left corner shows a minor touch of wear and slight rounding. The remaining corners appear very sharp for the era. Back: A very slight touch of whitening is present on the Top Left corner of the back, while others are clean.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: The edges are remarkably well-preserved with only the slightest hint of natural age-related fraying on the Left edge. Back: The reverse edges are crisp with only minor chipping visible on the Top edge.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The surface is in excellent condition with no visible creases, scratches, or print defects. Back: The back is very clean, showing no signs of wax stains or writing.
