This vintage 1956 Bill Skowron card is in exceptional condition. The grade is primarily limited by the vertical centering on the front and minor corner wear that is very light for a card of this era.
Centering: 7 / 10
Front: The horizontal centering is nearly perfect, while the image is shifted upward, resulting in a thinner top border compared to the bottom. Back: The reverse side shows a significant shift toward the right edge.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: All four corners are relatively sharp for a vintage card, with only minor touches of wear visible on the Top Right and Bottom Left corners. Back: The corners on the reverse show faint whitening and minor softening, consistent with the front.
Edges: 8 / 10
The edges on the back show some minor chipping, particularly along the right side.
Surface: 9 / 10
Front: The front surface is excellent, retaining bright colors and a clean finish without visible scratches or creases. Back: The back is well-preserved with typical light age-toning but no staining or marks.
