This 1961 Topps card is in outstanding condition, highlighted by its sharp corners and superb surface preservation. The final grade is determined by the vertical centering on the front, which sits just outside the range for the highest tiers but remains very respectable for a vintage classic.

The top border is noticeably thicker than the bottom, and the left border is slightly wider than the right.

Minor whitening is visible on the Top Left and Bottom Right corners, consistent with light handling over time.

Edges: 9 / 10
Front: The edges are extremely clean with no significant chipping or signs of fraying. Back: The edges remain smooth with only the lightest evidence of natural vintage toning.

Front: The surface is exceptional, featuring vibrant colors and a clean finish without any visible scratches or print snow. Back: The reverse surface is pristine, with no wax stains or ink marks often found on cards from this era.
