A PETE LAMMONS from the 1968 TOPPS set, card #143. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK JETS collection.
Graded by Mint Condition: 6
The grade is primarily constrained by noticeable off-center alignment on both the front and reverse, despite remarkably sharp corners and clean surfaces.
Centering: 5 / 10
Front: Front centering is horizontally off-center, with the left border substantially wider than the right border. Back: Back borders are well balanced, with no significant centering deviation detected.
Corners: 8 / 10
Front: Top Right corner shows the slightest hint of microscopic fiber wear, while all other corners remain remarkably sharp for the issue. Back: Top Right corner displays faint touch of wear at the tip, with the remaining three corners holding crisp factory points.
Edges: 8 / 10
Front: Right edge exhibits very light factory rough-cut texture, but edges are otherwise well-preserved. Back: All four edges are clean and intact with only minor vintage stock texture.
Surface: 8 / 10
Front: Upper Right background shows a minor original print speck, but the gloss and color remain bold and crease-free. Back: The reverse surface is exceptionally bright and clean with no wax staining or creasing.
