A Ray Smith from the 1954 BOWMAN set, card #119. This is a great addition to any CHICAGO BEARS collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 6 This vintage specimen is well-preserved but is held to an Excellent-Mint level primarily by the rounding on the top corners and the significant vertical centering shift toward the top border. Centering: 7 / 10 The front has a clear top-heavy centering shift, though it remains within acceptable limits for a mid-century vintage issue. Corners: 6 / 10 The Top Right corner shows moderate rounding and minor whitening. The Top Left corner has a slight touch of wear, while the bottom corners remain relatively square. Edges: 8 / 10 Edges are quite clean for the era, with only minor factory roughness visible along the right edge. Surface: 9 / 10 Front: The surface maintains excellent color and clarity with no visible creases or heavy scratches.
