A LOU GEHRIG from the 1961 GOLDEN PRESS HALL OF FAME BASEBALL STARS set, card #16. This is a great addition to any NEW YORK YANKEES collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 2 This card shows significant physical wear consistent with a lower grade. While the centering is respectable for the era, the presence of multiple heavy creases, significant corner rounding, and a prominent ink mark on the reverse side limits the overall condition to a Good rating. Centering: 9 / 10 Front: The front displays relatively balanced centering for a vintage issue, with a slight shift toward the top and left. Back: The back is shifted slightly toward the top right corner. Corners: 2 / 10 Front: All four corners exhibit heavy rounding and significant wear. A large crease is visible at the Top Right corner and a prominent fold is present at the Bottom Left. Back: The corners show severe wear and rounding, with heavy creasing affecting the Top Right and Bottom Left areas. Edges: 3 / 10 Front: The edges are significantly worn with heavy fraying, chipping, and multiple small indentations along the entire perimeter. Back: Heavy edge wear and chipping are present on all sides, consistent with the overall condition of the card. Surface: 2 / 10 Front: A prominent horizontal crease extends across the center-left portion of the card. The surface also shows various scuffs, indentations, and general aging. Back: A large blue ink mark is located in the upper right section. The back surface also shows multiple creases and significant handling wear. Please pay for multiple cards in ONE payment.
