A TED WILLIAMS from the 1959 FLEER set, card #49. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 7 This is a beautiful vintage card with exceptional eye appeal. While the corners and edges are in outstanding condition, the final grade is limited by the moderate horizontal centering shift on the front. Centering: 7 / 10 The horizontal centering is shifted toward the left edge, though it remains within respectable limits for the era. Vertical centering is excellent. Corners: 9 / 10 The Top Left and Top Right corners show extremely minor touches of wear, typical of high-grade vintage stock. Edges: 9 / 10 The edges on the reverse are quite sharp, with only a tiny hint of natural roughness on the bottom edge. Surface: 10 / 10 Front: The front surface is pristine, retaining strong color and high gloss with no visible defects. Back: The reverse surface is clean and free of any staining or print marks.
