A TED WILLIAMS from the 1959 FLEER set, card #5. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 6 This card presents very well with sharp corners and clean edges. However, the final grade is primarily constrained by a light surface crease and minor spotting found on the reverse. Additionally, while the horizontal centering is excellent, the vertical centering on the front is shifted toward the top edge. Centering: 7 / 10 The top border is noticeably thinner than the bottom border, while the left and right borders are nearly identical. Corners: 8 / 10 The corners on the reverse show very minor touches of wear, most notably at the Top Left, but remain relatively crisp. Edges: 10 / 10 Front: The front edges are smooth and free of any visible chipping or fraying. Back: The edges on the back are cleanly cut and well-maintained across all four sides. Surface: 5 / 10 A light horizontal crease is present on the left side of the card back, and there is some minor age-related spotting in the lighter-colored panel.
