A TED WILLIAMS from the 1959 FLEER set, card #51. This is a great addition to any BOSTON RED SOX collection. Graded by Mint Condition: 4 This vintage card is graded as Very Good primarily due to the uniform rounding present on all four corners and the significant left-to-right centering shift on the front. The surface and edges are well-preserved for a 1950s issue, showing only standard wear and toning. Centering: 6 / 10 The horizontal centering is shifted heavily toward the left edge, while the vertical centering shows a moderate shift toward the top. Corners: 3 / 10 Front: All four corners show moderate rounding and visible whitening of the card stock. Back: The corners on the reverse side are rounded with noticeable wear and softening of the tips. Edges: 5 / 10 Front: The edges show minor chipping and shelf wear, particularly along the top border. Back: Moderate wear is visible along all four edges, including small nicks and paper fiber fraying. Surface: 6 / 10 Front: The surface displays natural age-related toning and minor scuffing but remains bright for its era. Back: Expected yellowing and minor staining are present on the back surface.
