This 1930s matchbook cover is well-preserved for its age but is heavily impacted by significant surface staining on the front and staple holes from its original assembly. Wear to the corners and edges is typical for the era and consistent with its intended use.

The front displays a shift towards the top edge and a minor shift to the left side.

Corners: 4 / 10
Front: The Bottom Left and Bottom Right corners show moderate rounding. The top edges exhibit fraying consistent with their original attachment in a matchbook. Back: Corners on the reverse show significant softening and minor paper loss along the edges.

Edges: 5 / 10
Front: The top striker edge is naturally rough. The side edges show minor chipping and wear consistent with age. Back: The reverse edges show light fraying and typical wear for vintage cardboard stock.

Surface: 3 / 10
Front: There is a prominent brown stain in the upper text panel. The cover also shows factory fold lines and visible staple marks near the bottom. Back: The reverse side exhibits visible staple holes and general age-related staining and toning.
